On March 18, 2010 a group of interested neighbors met to begin organizing the Genesee Schmitz Neighborhood Council.

This is a group of volunteers committed to developing recommendations for by-laws and boundaries for the new organization.  This volunteer organizing group will  also organize , publicize , and facilitate a general neighborhood meeting to officially vote on by-laws, boundaries, officers.  This general meeting will officially establish the Genesee Schmitz Neighborhood Council and will be held before June 18, 2010.
